>Drool-worthy catch up post

>I haven’t blogged since the end of November. Its now the beginning of February. I’ve been busy. It feels awesome. It does not feel awesome to neglect my blog. I have not, however, been neglecting my kitchen. I’ve been taking a cake decorating class, so I’ve been doing a lot of baking.

Butterfly Cake

Car Cake

Christmas party Cake

Wedding style

Fudge with raspberry filling

Margarita cupcakes from VCTOTW

I’m having a blast with this class. I have two cakes left, then its over. I’m hoping to take another after this one.

In other news, I’m headed to Portland in August for VidaVeganCon. Its going to be amazing. There are going to be some amazing speakers (Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Lindsay Shay Nixon, Meave Gallagher, Melisser Elliot, Susan Voisin, and Terry Hope Romero to name just a few).

I’m unbelievably excited. If you can make it – GO! early registration prices end on March 1st. However, regardless of the registration fee you pay, 5% of it goes to supporting animal sanctuaries.

Also, if you’re going, I want to know!
