>New food of the week: Sunchoke
This was the first time I have tried a sunchoke, and it was fantastic. They are a tuber that you may mistake for ginger in the grocery store. They taste a little like an artichoke. Sunchokes are full of iron, fiber, niacin, thiamine, phosphorus and copper.
Sunchokes are in season during the winter, so you may not find them in your market for much longer! Take the time now to check them out – I highly recommend them.
